About Mr Cheema
Klinikal is delighted to work with the highly experienced plastic surgeon Mr Cheema. He specialises in a broad range of cosmetic surgery procedures including breast and abdominal surgery and has completed a prestigious cosmetic surgery fellowship in Sweden.
Currently, he is working in both the NHS and the private sector.
Mr Cheema gained his medical degree in 2001. He continued his surgical training to become a Member and, later, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh before gaining a Master’s degree in Reconstructive Microsurgery from Barcelona.
A career in the UK and further afield has provided him with a wealth of experience. He honed his skills through utilising the latest technology and learning advanced techniques during a 7-month fellowship at Europe’s largest cosmetic clinic, Stockholm’s Akademikliniken Centre. As a Fellow, Mr Cheema was involved in more than 500 procedures and gained invaluable experience in procedures including breast augmentation, uplift and reduction and abdominoplasty.
He has undertaken additional fellowships and attended educational courses worldwide to continue developing his knowledge and expertise.
Mr Cheema hosts regular workshops to support the learning of the next generation of plastic surgeons and authored the book ‘Principles and Practice of Plastic Surgery’. He has contributed to several peer-reviewed scientific papers about cosmetic surgery which are regularly published in leading plastic surgery journals in the world, and is currently producing a monthly podcast for fellow plastic surgeons.
