Dr Patel is a qualified Consultant Plastic Surgeon who is on the GMC specialist register for Plastic Surgery. An accomplished surgeon, Dr Patel was awarded the prestigious Oncoplastic Breast Reconstructive and Aesthetic TIG Fellowship in Essex.

In her early career following her graduation from the University of Leicester, Dr Patel’s training took place in NHS hospitals across England, including the North West and the East and West Midlands. Professional development continued through a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Education, as well as becoming a Member of the Academy of Medical Educators, in 2014.

Dr Lopa Patel has been a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England since 2013 who has received multiple awards, and academic achievements included in national and international publications and presentations.
